Job Summary
Are you a dynamic leader in financial services with a strong background in Check Off lending? Mwananchi Credit Limited is seeking a Check Off Team Leader in Nairobi to drive loan portfolio growth, generate quality business, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of at least 10 active sales representatives/marketers
- Deliver monthly loan acquisition targets and expand the Nairobi Check Off loan portfolio
- Oversee staff performance through structured field activations and corporate client engagement
- Ensure compliance with lending processes, documentation standards, and client satisfaction
- Build strong relationships with organizations for smooth payroll deduction processes
- Champion Mwananchi’s values of integrity, accountability, and service excellence
Minimum Qualifications Required
- 3+ years’ proven experience in Check Off loans, payroll lending, or microfinance services
- Demonstrated success in building, mentoring, and managing productive sales teams
- Strong track record in portfolio growth, lead conversion, and client retention
- Excellent communication, organizational, and reporting skills
- A results-driven leader with a reputation for professionalism and trustworthiness
