The Assistant Audit will support the internal audit function at Baus Optical by assisting in audit planning, execution, and reporting to ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements. Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and conducting internal audits across branches and departments
  • Review operational processes and internal controls for effectiveness and compliance
  • Perform audit testing and document audit findings
  • Support risk assessments and control evaluations
  • Prepare audit working papers and draft reports
  • Follow up on audit recommendations and corrective actions
  • Support inventory, cash, and compliance audits
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather audit information

Educational Qualifications, Experience, & Skills Required

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field
  • Sound understanding of basic auditing and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to handle confidential information
