Job Summary
The Medical Officers are responsible for providing high-quality clinical care through patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while ensuring compliance with medical standards, ethical practice, and hospital policies.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care to patients in outpatient settings.
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnose, and prescribe treatment plans.
- Participate in health promotion, preventive care, and community outreach programs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with health regulations
Educational Qualifications, Experience, & Skills Required
- MBChB or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid Kenyan medical license / registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Minimum of 2 years post-internship clinical experience.
- Technical skills/Leadership competencies
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical management skills.
- Ability to handle emergency cases and provide appropriate interventions.
- Knowledge of Kenyan health policies and patient care protocols.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
